On the first weekend of November 2012 (2 - 4.11.) the capital of Saxony-Anhalt, Magdeburg, held a symposium of the Riga Committee. This was a continuation of the impressive meeting of the representatives of the member cities in Riga in July 2010. Together with the War Graves Commission in Saxony-Anhalt, the state capital of Magdeburg offered opportunities for encounters, exchanges and the further development of joint activities within the framework of this symposium.
